(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) – The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) announced their Athletes of the Week this afternoon and Nathen Borgan from the men's track & field team was honored.

Borgan's win in the Hammer Throw at the Kennesaw State Don McGarey Invitational earned him his fifth OAC Track and Field Athlete of the Week honor.

Borgan defeated a field littered with Division I competitors Friday afternoon with a throw of 64.56m and cleared 62m on each of his four successful throws. His throw is No. 1 in Division III this season and is the No. 9 All-Time Division III mark. 

This is Borgan's third OAC Athlete of the Week honor for the outdoor season, while earning two in the indoor season.

Borgan will compete at the JENNASTRONG Track and Field Invitational #1 this Saturday at Williams Stadium.
