(GREENWOOD, Ind.) – The College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly known as the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), announced their Women's Basketball Academic All-District teams this afternoon and the Quakers had two players honored.
To be eligible, you must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 GPA, and must have played in 90 percent or started 66 percent of your team's games this season.
Sophomores
Stephanie Altstaetter and
Gabby Russell were honored for the first time in their careers. Altstaetter was also named Academic-All Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) last week for the first time.
Altstaetter is an Agricultural Business major, who scored 228 points, grabbed 122 rebounds, and blocked 11 shots this season, appearing in 24 games.
Russell is an Accounting/Finance major. She played in all 25 games for the Quakers, scored 139 points, grabbed 98 rebounds, and dished out 29 assists.
