Four Quakers Named to Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association All-State Teams

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) - The Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association announced the selections of their NCAA Division III All-Ohio teams, with four Wilmington Quakers being on the list.

Parker Burke and Randy Harris were named to the men's Second Team, Alex Wilson was named to the women's Second Team, and Lindsey Bauer was named to the women's Third Team.

Burke adds to his accolades in his first year in collegiate soccer, with a program-record-tying 22-goal season and being named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Second Team and United Soccer Coaches Division III District VII Second Team. Burke also netted 5 assists in his 20 games played, which would lead to the fourth-highest point total in program history (49). Those 22 goals were tied for third in the country and his 49 points were sixth in the country.

Harris was named to the All-OAC First Team and United Soccer Coaches Division III District VII Third Team, also in his first year with the Quakers after transferring in from NCAA Division II Malone University. Harris netted 10 goals and 12 assists for the Quakers, the only player on Wilmington with double figures in both categories, playing in all 20 matches. The 12 assists were good for second in the OAC and 11th in Division III. The assist total also is tied for second all-time in Wilmington NCAA-era program history. His goal total and point total (32) were both fourth in the OAC.

Wilson, unlike her male counterparts, completed her third year with the Quakers, having earned her second All-OAC First Team nod, with a Third Team nod in 2023, and a United Soccer Coaches Division III District VII Third Team. She was seventh in the OAC in points (21), tied for seventh in goals (8), and tied for eighth in assists (5), all while leading the conference in shots (91) and shots-on-goal (47). This marks Wilson's second nod on an All-Ohio team, earning a second-team nod in 2022.

Bauer was an anchor on the Quakers back line and played nearly every minute of every game. During conference and postseason play, she never came out of a game once, which is an impressive task for a freshman. The Quakers were sixth in the conference in both goals allowed with 24 and goals allowed average at 1.26 per game.

The Wilmington men were a fun group to watch, and they will look to improve on their record next season, as they search for a berth in the NCAA Tournament. And the Quaker women continue to improve every season, as they look for their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2003.
