(AKRON, Ohio) - The Quakers women's swimming team concluded a hard-fought second day of the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships (OAC) at Akron's Ocasek Natatorium on Thursday.
The relay team of
Sydney Overmyer,
Gabby Kuetemeyer,
Adisson Houdeshell and
Brenna Beadle finish fifth in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:48.20Â and the 400 Yard Medley Relay in sixth with a time of 4:22.56.
Overmyer finished the 500 Yard Freestyle B final with a time of 5:49.48 in 15th place. Kuetemeyer finished the 200 Yard Individual Medley B final in 13th place with a time of 2:20.99.
After Day 2, the Quakers sit in sixth place as a team with 34 points. John Carroll leads the conference with 321 points. Baldwin Wallace, Mount Union, Ohio Northern and Heidelberg sit second through fifth, respectively.

Tomorrow, prelims will kick off again at 10:00 A.M. with the 200 Yard Medley Relay, 400 Yard IM, 100 Yard Butterfly, 200 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard Breaststroke and 100 Yard Backstroke. Finals will be at 6:00 P.M.
