(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) – The Ohio Athletic Conference announced their 2025 Fall Academic All-OAC recipients this afternoon and the Quakers had 39 student-athletes recognized, with 24 of these athletes being honored for the first time in their careers. This was their most fall honorees since they had 45 in 2022.
Academic All-OAC award winners must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50.
The Quakers women's soccer team had the most honorees for Wilmington with 14. This was their most in a season since they had 18 during the 2020-21 academic year. Second time honorees for them were seniors
Madison VanSuch,
Jordan Snyder and
Maura Carr along with juniors
Grace Kingery,
Gabby Perkins, and
Emma Storck. Earning recognition for the first time were senior
Makiah Newport and sophomores
Lindsey Bauer,
Maren Johannesen,
Gracie King,
Olivia Malicoat,
Riley Shockey,
Ella Sills, and
Emily Stall.
Football had eight athletes honored this year, which is their most since 2023, where they had 14. Senior
Logan Lovins, along with juniors
Gavan Hunter,
Bryce Hodapp, and
Kellen Strayer all earned their second Academic All-OAC honor of their careers. First time honorees were senior
Nick Bucksath, junior
Bryce Stout, and sophomores
Nick Morrow and
Jace Thuma.
Men's soccer had seven Quakers honored, which was their most since 2022, where they had eight. Juniors
Noah Lee and
Jase Edmonson were named for the second time, while junior
Jordan Domoe and sophomores
Parker Burke,
Gavin Murray,
Robin Petrovic Adolfsson and
Cameron Weirather all earned recognition for the first time.
Junior
Logan McQuillin was named Academic All-OAC for the second time in her career for women's volleyball while senior
Gabby Russell along with sophomores
Emma Doherty,
Paige Shouse,
Addison Sparks, and
Emma Specht all were named for the first time.
Senior
Gabe Moore and junior
Hayden Setty were recognized for the second time in their careers from men's cross country and women's cross country, respectively. Junior
Brendan Bornemann and sophomore
Leah Gorby were named for the first time.
