(WILMINGTON, Ohio) – The Wilmington College men's cross country team took sixth place as a team today at the 2025 JennaStrong Fall Classic with a score of 188.
For the second time this season, senior
Tate Yoder won, taking the race in a time of 25:28.6. This smashes his previous personal best time at the meet by 21 seconds and is the fifth straight year that a Quaker has won the meet.
Senior
Gabe Moore took third place in a time of 25:35.9, which is a new personal best 8k time and jumps his time from last year at the event by 44 seconds. This is also his second Top-3 finish of the season.
The final three finishers for Wilmington were freshmen in
Simeon Williamson,
Ethan DeRoest, and
Braydon Buchanan, who all finished in the Top-100. Williamson was 78th with a time of 27:52.0. DeRoest took 89th and crossed the finish line in 28:05.3, which is a new personal best time this season. Buchanan finished in 98th at 28:17.1.
