ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's track and field team sent Emma Burke and Kayli Sullivan to rep the Quakers at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet.
Emma Burke was eyeing the final spot for a bid to nationals and ran a blistering 1:04.84 in the 400-meter hurdles all alone. Unfortunately, Burke missed the mark by a mere second and change. Kayli Sullivan took third place in the hammer with a throw of 48.56 meters, but fell short of a spot at nationals.
Wilmington ends the 2021 outdoor track season on a high note, and will look to prepare for next fall.
