PERSONAL: Obed Achirem was born Nov. 11, 2002...the son of Jeannette and Samuel Achirem... three-year starter for Head Coach Pat Murphy at St. Francis DeSales High School... District 10 all star, All CCL, and All District.

MAJOR: Exercise Science

Freshman Season (2021-22): 

Averaged 10.4 points and 9.7 rebounds in nine games as a freshman...notched three double-doubles and ended the season with a caeer-high 19 points in a loss to The University of Mount Union on Dec. 17.

Sophomore Season (2022-23):

Started 23 games for the Quakers…Fourth in the OAC with 187 rebounds, sixth in the OAC with 120 defensive rebounds, and fifth in the OAC with 67 offensive rebounds…Led the Quakers with 34 steals…Second on the team with 237 points scored, 93 made field goals, and 41 assists…Third on the team with 10 blocks and 42 made free throws…Recorded five double-doubles during the season.

Junior Season (2023-24):

Appeared in 19 games for the Quakers, making 16 starts…Second on the team with 28 steals…Third on the team with 25 assists…Scored 150 points, made 61 field goals, 16 free throws, and 12 three pointers…Grabbed 90 rebounds (28 offensive, 62 defensive)…Blocked four shots…Scored 12 or more points in five games.

Senior Season (2024-25):

Started all 25 games for the Quakers…Led the team with 12.8 points per game, 5.9 rebounds per game, and 1.76 steals per game…Second on the team with 38 assists…Shot 45% from the field, 40% from three-point range, and 54% from the free-throw line…Totaled 297 points, 147 rebounds, 38 assists, and 44 steals…Scored 10 or more points in 17 of the Quakers 25 games...Recorded one double-double during the season against Muskingum University on Jan. 29...Named Honorable Mention All-OAC.
