Biography

PERSONAL: Jacob "Jake" Sheriff was born Feb. 21, 2001...the son of Stacey & Jeff...three-year starter for Head Coach Krause at Fairfield High School...tallied 34 tackles and forced one fumble in prep career...Academic Honor Roll...also member of the baseball team.

MAJOR: Business Administration

Freshman Season (2021 SPRING): 

Appeared in all five games in a season shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic...tallied 10 tackles and recovered one fumble.

Sophomore Season (2021 FALL): 

Appeared in all nine games...tallied 33 tackles good for fifth on the team..also had three tackles for loss and one pass breakup.

Junior Season (2022): 

Started all 10 games as a junior...fourth on the team in tackles with 50...tallied 5.5 tackles for loss.

Senior Season (2023):

Appeared in all 10 games for the Quakers…Tied for the team lead with one fumble recovery…Second on the team with 36 tackle assists…Tied for second on the team with 5.5 tackles for loss and two sacks…Had 55 total tackles and 19 solo tackles…Made 12 total tackles at Otterbein University on September 16, 2023.

Senior Season (2024):

Started all 10 games for the Quakers…Led the team with 65 total tackles and 33 assisted tackles…Also tied for the team lead with five tackles for loss and tied for third on the team with one sack...Had 12 tackles (four solo, eight assists) against Heidelberg University on Nov. 9, 2024.
