(DELAWARE, Ohio) – The Wilmington College baseball team lost a road game Tuesday afternoon at Ohio Wesleyan University, 8-3.
The Quakers struck for their first run in the top of the second inning after falling behind 3-0. Wilmington scored their first run on an error, after
Kyle Jennings hit a single earlier in the inning to get on base.
Their second run came on a
JP Donelan double in the top of the third, which cut the lead to 4-2. Their final run came on a sixth inning sacrifice fly from
Bobby Fleming.
