Game 2 – Heidelberg Defeats Wilmington, 12-6
Wilmington jumped out to a 5-1 lead over the Student Princes in game two. Right out of the gate, Calhoun and Dominic Depa hit singles, while an error brought in Calhoun for the first run of the game. JP Donelan followed with a sacrifice fly for a 2-0 lead in the first.

Heidelberg scored a run in the bottom of the inning, but two more runs came from the Quakers in the top of the second. Braden Chambers hit a two-run triple into centerfield to bring in Zane Matthews and Jarrett Morris. Matthews doubled to start the inning and Morris walked.

They tacked on another run in the third inning off a Student Princes two out error that brought in Donelan, who doubled to start the frame. In the fourth, Depa hit a bases loaded sacrifice fly.

The bottom of the third inning doomed the Quakers however, as Heidelberg had six hits and scored five runs to take the lead and come away with the win. Wilmington had chances with runners in scoring position in the fifth and seventh innings, but double plays ended their threats.
