Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Quakers Take Sixth Straight Quaker Bowl Victory at Earlham

(RICHMOND, Ind.) – For the sixth straight time in the Quaker Bowl series, the Wilmington College men's soccer team defeated Earlham College, beating them 3-0 on the road Tuesday afternoon. The last five meetings have been shutout wins for Wilmington, as they move to 7-1-1 on the season.

Wilmington was putting pressure on the Earlham keeper early and often throughout the first half, taking five shots on goal before scoring in the 39th minute. Sophomore Akol Malow found junior Tannar Beermann inside the box, who drilled one into the net for a 1-0 halftime lead.

Earlham suffered an own goal in the 55th minute, as they tried to get the ball back to the keeper to kick it out to midfield, but the ball was sent too far and the keeper couldn't stop it before going into the net.

The 56th minute saw Wilmington score their final goal of the game. Senior Kaden Young sent a solid pass to junior Jordan Domoe past midfield. Domoe worked his way left and found himself right at the top of the box, where he rolled a rocket right past a stunned keeper for a 3-0 lead. The Quakers had three more shots on goal throughout the remainder of the game.
