Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Quakers Dominate Adrian in Shutout Victory Friday Night

(WILMINGTON, Ohio) – The Wilmington College men's soccer team won their sixth game in a row Friday night, taking down the Adrian College Bulldogs 3-0 in Williams Stadium and improving their record to 6-0-1 on the season.

Adrian helped out the Quakers in the 31st minute, scoring an own goal after Wilmington put some major pressure on them. Connor Neidemire threw it in, and Eli Eyrich tried to head it in, but missed it and the ball knocked off a Bulldog into his teammate and went into the net for a 1-0 Quakers lead.

It looked for awhile like Wilmington would win by the 1-0 score, but Logan Kent had other plans. In the 74th minute, Brayden Spencer sent a beautiful ball over all the Adrian defenders to a waiting Kent, who did the rest. He used his right foot to put the ball right past the Bulldogs keeper for a 2-0 lead.

The 85th minute saw the final goal for Wilmington from Jordan Domoe. Eyrich left footed a pass to Domoe, who was right in front of the keeper for the score and a 3-0 lead.
