(RICHMOND, Ind.) - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team played the Earlham College Quakers today for the coveted Quaker Bowl. Wilmington outscored Earlham in the second half but were unable to complete the comeback attempt on the road, losing by a final score of 8-7. Wilmington is now 3-3 overall on the season.
Wilmington led at the end of the first quarter by a score of 3-2 but a big response by Earlham in the second made the halftime score 6-4 in favor of Earlham.
Wilmington outscored Earlham in the second half but Earlham scored a goal in the final two minutes of the game to break a 7-7 tie and give Earlham an 8-7 win to take the Quaker Bowl.
