(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team hosted Centenary College of Louisiana on Saturday afternoon. The Quakers fought hard to the finish and scored five goals in the fourth quarter. The 24-11 loss drops the Wilmington record to 3-4 on the season.
The first quarter started slow for Wilmington giving up three early goals to the Gents.
Garrett Reigelsperger scored to break the shutout and make the score 3-1. The Quakers had more offensive success in the second quarter including goals by
Nick Roca and
Colin McLaughlin. Garrett Reiglesperger added two more in the second frame making the halftime score 13-5.
The Quaker offense was able to score six more goals in the second half but ultimately fell by a final score of 24-11.
