Otterbein immediately went on a 10-0 run to begin the second half and push the score to 46-41, as the Quakers didn't make their first shot in the second half until a Chisholm dunk with 14:22 remaining.

The Cardinals cut the lead down to two points, but the Quakers held them at bay and led 61-53 after a Zach McGuirt three pointer with 11:03 to play. Otterbein followed this with a 9-1 flurry to tie the game at 62-62.
