(ALLIANCE, Ohio) – The Wilmington College men's basketball team concluded 2025 today with a blowout victory of the Mount Aloysius College Mounties, 108-67 in their second game of the M Club Classic, hosted at the University of Mount Union.
This is the second time this season that the Quakers broke the century mark, as they scored 109 in a victory earlier this season at Bethany College.
Mount Aloysius hung with the Quakers for the first six minutes of the contest and held a one-point advantage at 11-10. However, a 23-8 Wilmington run blew the door open and gave the Quakers a 34-18 lead with seven minutes remaining in the first half.
Elijah Cathey led the run with six points while
Carson Miles added five for the Quakers. Their lead grew to 21 by the end of the first half, holding a 49-28 lead heading into the locker room.
Wilmington started the second half with a 20-2 run for a 69-30 advantage over the Mounties.
Domenic Farley led the Quakers during this stretch of play with six points, while
Elijah Cathey added five points. Wilmington led by as many as 43 points in the second half, scoring 59 points over the final 20 minutes of a dominant 108-67 victory.
