(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - Ky Walker opened the game with 14 first-half points in the Wilmington Quakers (6-12, 3-8 OAC) win over the Muskingum Muskies (4-14, 2-9 OAC) in Wilmington on Wednesday night.
Walker led all scorers with 17 points, and also tallied six rebounds and six assists.
Gabby Russell scored 13 points and
Alaiya Meaux scored 11 points and pulled down seven rebounds, to lead all players.
Wilmington led most of the second half after trailing Muskingum during most of the first half. The Muskies got out to a 15-8 lead in the first quarter, for their largest lead of the game.
After trading baskets for a 17-10 Muskies lead, Wilmington closed that gap going into halftime trailing by one, 37-36.
Wilmington built the second half lead compliments of a 16-7 third quarter and outscoring Muskingum on points off turnovers 25-9.
Wilmington picked Muskingum's pockets eight times, led by Meaux's three steals.
Julia Jaenke, Mckinzi Linscott and Makiya Edwards each scored 11 for Muskingum in the losing effort.

The Quakers will venture up to Alliance, Ohio for a game with the Mount Union Purple Raiders, for sole possession of seventh place in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC). Tip-off is set for 1:00 p.m.
In the last meeting between the Quakers and Purple Raiders, back on December 14, the Quakers won 69-62 at Fred Raizk Arena.
