(ALLIANCE, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's basketball team lost on the road Saturday afternoon to the University of Mount Union Purple Raiders, 83-38. The Quakers fell behind early and couldn't dig themselves out of their hole as they fall to 6-13 overall this season and 3-9 in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC).

The Quakers fell behind by as many as 14 points in the first quarter and trailed at the half, 40-20. Wilmington struggled in the second en route to their defeat.

Notables

• Stephanie Altstaetter led the Quakers with eight points, while Cassidy Lovett, Ky Walker, Sierra McCoin, and Alaiya Meaux all added six points.
• Altstaetter and Walker led the team with five rebounds each and also had one block.
• Walker led the way with three assists and Bailey Eddleman added two for the Quakers.
• Walker had a game high five steals while Meaux and Lovett added two apiece.

What's Up Next
The Quakers look to get back on track Wednesday night in Ada, Ohio, where they take on the Ohio Northern University Polar Bears at 7:00 P.M. in the ONU Sports Center.

They look for their first win over Ohio Northern since the 2020-21 season.
