(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - The Wilmington College women's soccer team conceded what would ultimately be the game winning goal in the 82nd minute of tonight's contest against the Panthers of Hanover College, losing 2-1. The Quakers are now 1-1-1 on the season.
The Quakers offense was able to generate six shots in the first half but only put one shot on goal. Neither team was able to sustain possession consistently in the first half leading to a 0-0 tie at halftime.
Scoring picked up quickly after the break as Hanover's Emma Gill scored the games opening goal 15 minutes into the second half.

Gabby Perkins in the 77th minute to tie the game at 1-1. Hanover had one final push in them and in the 82nd minute Kate Bettner scored the game winning goal for the Panthers.
