(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - The current OAC Offensive Player of the Week
Jada Pohlen scored two goals and assisted on a third in Wednesday night's 3-1 victory over the Mount St. Joseph University Lions. The Quakers are now 4-1-1 overall this season and have won three games in a row.
The first half had just opened when Pohlen got the scoring started with a goal at the 3:08 mark off a
Jordan Snyder assist. Wilmington continued to pressure the Lions and in the 35th minute, Pohlen again broke through to give the Quakers a 2-0 lead, where
Macy Million was credited with the assist.
Bailey Dotson broke free midway through the second half to put the Lions on the scoreboard for the first time and push the deficit to just one at 2-1. Pohlen once again put her stamp on the game with an assist to
Grace Kingery, for a goal in the 73rd minute, giving the Quakers a 3-1 lead they would not give up.
