(WILMINGTON, Ohio) Carson Miles nets 22 points, going 4-of-6 from beyond the arc in an 83-72 Quaker win over the Adrian Bulldogs on Wednesday evening in Wilmington.
Rashid Chisholm had 19 points and 7 rebounds for the Quakers, with
Bryce Bird scoring 13 points.
Obed Achirem just missed out on a double-double with 9 points and 10 rebounds.
Nick Seifert led all scorers with 24 points, and Josh Jordan scored 15 in the losing effort for the Bulldogs.
Adrian's last lead of the game ended with 11:45 left to go in the first half, following a Miles 3-pointer, to give Wilmington a 17-16 lead.
The closest it came after a 15-2 run by the Quakers after taking that lead was a Josh Jordan layup at 18:48 in the second half to make it 39-37. But a 16-3 run ballooned that lead from 2 to 15 and Wilmington never looked back.
The Quakers travel to Marietta to take on the Pioneers at Ban Johnson Arena, with tip-off set to take place approximately 30 minutes following the women's game, which tips off at 2:00 p.m.
