(WILMINGTON, Ohio) – The Wilmington College men's basketball team lost a heart breaker Saturday afternoon, 70-69, to the visiting University of Mount Union Purple Raiders. The Quakers tried to grab a large lead early in the game, using a 7-3 push to take an 11-5 advantage just over five minutes into the first half. Farley went 1-2 at the free throw line after a foul. The Purple Raiders missed a three, but a tip in layup by perennial All-American Christian Parker gave them a 70-69 lead. A last second heave from Farley hit the rim but was no good as the Quakers were left shocked in Hermann Court.
