(HOLLAND, Mich.) - A 9-0 opening run by No. 12 Hope College and a 27-9 first quarter were just enough to open a sizable lead and keep Wilmington at a distance in the Quakers 99-63 loss on Friday night.
Stephanie Altstaetter led all Quakers in scoring with 14 points, with
Cassidy Lovett scoring 12 and
Alaiya Meaux scoring 11 in her Quakers debut.
Four Quakers pulled down five rebounds in Lovett, Meaux,
Olivia Trusty, and
Natalie Rupp.
Meaux also tallied 5 steals while Lovett and
Sierra McCoin dished out 4 assists.
