(GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.) -Â The Wilmington College women's basketball team dropped their second game to begin the 2024-25 season tonight at Calvin University, 71-35.
It took 11:27 for the Quakers to get on the board, compliments of an
Alaiya Meaux fastbreak layup, but Wilmington was already down 24 by that point, and maintained a steady pace to fall to the Calvin Knights.
ZahKyria Walker, Meaux, and
Cassidy Lovett all led the Quakers scoring with nine, eight, and seven points, respectively.
Gabby Russell pulled down a team-high eight rebounds. Lovett had four steals, while Meaux and Walker had three each.
