Topsy-Turvy Second Half Shows Strengths of Quakers Despite Falling to Denison, 70-62

(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - Wilmington sprinted out to a 57-54 third-quarter lead with Denison's Abby Cooch on the bench with three fouls in the first half, but that momentum didn't carry over to the fourth quarter in a Quakers 70-62 loss to the Denison University Big Red on Wednesday night.

Wilmington also scored the second-most points on Denison this season, with only Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC)-foe Capital University scoring more on the Big Red.

The Quakers jumped out to that lead in the third by outscoring the Big Red 26-17, but fell behind 16-5 in the fourth as Denison completed the comeback for their victory.
