(NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind.) – The Wilmington College women's swimming team won their second dual in a row this afternoon at Manchester University, 103-91. They improve their overall dual record to 2-4 this season.
Wilmington were the only ones competing in the 400 Yard Medley Relay as the team of
Sydney Overmyer,
Gabby Kuetemeyer,
Alayna Fierman, and
Paige Braley finished in 4:50.25.
Adrienne Reynek and
Brynn Bishop went 1-2 in the 1000 Yard Freestyle, with Reynek finishing in 13:11.20 and Bishop in 13:25.85.
Adisson Houdeshell took second in the 200 Yard Freestyle at 2:15.81 before
Brenna Beadle won the 50 Yard Freestyle in 27.36 seconds. Bishop just missed out on a win in the 100 Yard Butterfly, swimming a 1:16.45 to Megan Pierce's 1:15.87.
Alaina Reynek finished second in the 100 Yard Backstroke, touching the wall in 1:13.88, while
Shannon O'Boyle finished behind her at 1:20.61.
Overmyer took the 500 Yard Freestyle by over two seconds with a time of 6:05.54. Kuetemeyer dominated the 100 Yard Breaststroke by over three seconds, touching the wall in 1:16.02. Overmyer, Houdeshell, Fierman, and Kuetemeyer swam the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay in 4:16.02 to conclude the Quakers day on a high note.
