(POWELL, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's cross-country team competed at the OWU Invitational Friday evening, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University at Liberty Park. The Quakers finished in 15th place with a team score of 480.
Faith Duncan also competed at the Division III Pre-Nationals race, hosted at the course that the NCAA Division III National Championships are taking place in Terre Haute, Indiana. Faith kept her winning streak alive, taking the race in a time of 21:02.79, which is a new season best and new program record for Wilmington.
Sophomore
Meghan Cory led Wilmington at Ohio Wesleyan with a 95th place finish in a time of 25:41.1. This is a new personal best for Cory.
Also running personal bests were sophomore
Hayden Setty with a time of 27:09.6 in 136th place, freshman
Allyson Merriman at 28:47.1, freshman
Leah Gorby crossed the line in 32:22.7, and junior
Abby Jo Leiss in 33:27.6. Senior
Bella Stevens finished the race at 31:25.7.
What's Up Next
The Quakers will next be in action at home in Wilmington for their annual JennaStrong Fall Classic on Friday October 18th. The women are slated to run at 4:30 P.M.
