(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - The Wilmington College women's soccer team hosted the Capital University Comets in a physical match on Wednesday night. Wilmington out-shot Capital 6-2 in the first half but would go into halftime tied 0-0.
The second half was a decidedly more offensive half, seeing three total goals scored. Capital's Ava Spirk and Ryanne Michel each scored in the first 15 minutes. Wilmington scored in the 86th minute when
Jordan Snyder converted a penalty kick.
