PERSONAL: Gavyn was born October 15, 2000... son of April Ferrell... four-year member of varsity Wrestling at Urbana High School under Head Coach Anthony Kitchen... 4x District Qualifier, 2x Sectional Champion in Wrestling.

MAJOR: Psychology
MINOR: Criminal Justice 

Freshman Season (2024-25):
Competed in seven matches this season, all at 125 pounds…Won both his matches at the NCAA Regionals…Had one fall.

Sophomore Season (2025-26):
Competed in 24 matches this season for the Quakers, wrestling in the 125- and 133-pound weight classes…Won nine matches, with two wins coming in conference duals…Tied for third on the team with four falls and one tech. fall…Represented the Quakers at 133 pounds in the NCAA Regional Tournament.
