PERSONAL: Mariella Szrom was born Jan. 5, 2000 to parents Olivia and Darren...four-year starter for Head Coach Casey Feeny and Jones College Preparatory...member of regional championship team...named Team MVP as a senior...her cousin, Patrick Carroll, graduated from Wilmington College in 2012.

MAJOR: Athletic Training

FRESHMAN SEASON (2018): Appeared in 28 matches with 20 starts along with 96 sets played...recorded 127 kills on the season for an average of 1.32 kills per set in addition to 14 service aces and 40 digs. Had over 10 kills in three different matches including a season high of 11 in a match against Franklin on Sept. 5 and in a 3-2 victory over Boyce on Sept. 8...recorded 64 total blocks with 11 solos including a season high of 9 blocks in a 3-2 victory over St. Mary-Woods on Sept. 22.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2019): Appeared and started in all matches...averaged 1.22 kills and half a block per set...tallied a career-high eight block against Manchester on Aug. 31...finished with seven kills on five occasions, including hitting over a .300 clip in five total matches.
