Biography

PERSONAL: Blake O'Brien was born May 7, 2002...the daughter of Jennifer O'Brien...four-year starter for Head Coach Tammy Becker at Marquette High School...three-time All-Conference honoree...also member of the soccer team.

MAJOR: Athletic Training/Spanish

FRESHMAN SEASON (2021 SPRING): Appeared 15 matches with 44 sets played in a season shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic...averaged 2.70 digs per set as a member of the Fightin' Quakers' back row.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2021 FALL): Appeared in 24 matches with 78 sets played...tallied 3 kills and a team best 409 digs good for 4th most in a single season in Quaker history...averaged 5.24 digs per set. 

JUNIOR SEASON (2022): Appeared in 28 matches with 97 sets played as a junior...Second Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) honoree...finished in the top 10 in the country in digs per set (6.20) and top 25 in total digs (601)...notched a career-high 47 digs in a come-from-behind, five-set victory over Anderson University on Sept. 28.
