Aly Mapes enters her second year as the Graduate Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at Wilmington College in 2025, with the 2024 season being her first on the sidelines alongside Head Coach Nick Kinder.Â
Mapes is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and played four years of collegiate soccer at Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania. During her senior season, she became a player-coach for the Wolverines. The 2023 Wolverines went 14-5-1, 9-0-1 in the President's Athletic Conference (PAC), won the PAC conference tournament and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
Mapes has coached at the youth level for six years, working at Quickskills Soccer Camps to teach young athletes anywhere from age 3-15 the fundamentals of soccer.
She graduated in the spring of 2024 from Grove City College and is working towards a Master's of Organizational Leadership at Wilmington College.
