Alex Farmer enters her fourth season as an assistant women's soccer coach at Wilmington College in 2025-26.
The Quakers finished 7-7-5 overall and 3-3-3 in conference play and made the OAC Tournament in 2024. Two players were named All-Ohio by the Ohio College Sports Association in Alex Wilson to the Second Team and Lindsey Bauer to the Third Team.Â
In 2023, the Quakers made the OAC Tournament with an overall record of 10-7-2 and 3-5-1 in OAC play. Four players were named Third Team All-OAC in Haley Fulton, Alex Wilson, Madison VanSuch, and Jada Pohlen.Â
Alongside Head Coach Nick Kinder, Paparella helped guide the Quakers to a 10-8-0 overall mark and a 4-5-0 record in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) games in 2022. Wilmington, which nearly overcame an 0-4-0 start to league play to make the OAC Tournament, had four individuals earn postseason conference awards including Co-Freshman of the Year and First Team selection Alex Wilson.Â
Farmer comes to WC from the Centerville United Soccer Association where she's served as the goalkeeper director for the club as well as coaching two different teams. Farmer is no stranger to the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) as she was a four-year starting goalkeeper for the Heidelberg Student Princes from 2015-18. Farmer tallied 72 games played with 57 starts, made 491 career saves and won 24 contests. A four-time All-OAC honoree which included Second Team recognition as a junior and senior, she is fourth in program history in career wins (24), second in shutouts (23), third in saves (491) and third in goals career average (1.49).
Farmer has two degrees from Heidelberg - a bachelor's degree in criminology (2019) and a master's degree in business administration (2020).
She resides in Wilmington.
