PERSONAL: Abigail Spirk was born June 29, 1999, the daughter of Stacy and Mike Spirk...has four older siblings, Brandon, Kyle, Krystyle, and Michael...three-year letter winner, one-year starter at Northmont High School, where she played for Ted Mergler...Second Team All-Ohio as a senior...Second Team All-Conference honoree...is the seventh member of the Spirk family to attend Wilmington.
MAJOR: Early Childhood Education
FRESHMAN SEASON (2017): Played all all 17 games as a freshman with three starts...fired five total shots including three on net.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2018): Appeared in 17 games with 15 starts...recorded one goal and one assist on the season...put up 14 shots with nine of them being on goal.
JUNIOR SEASON (2019): Appeareed in 16 games with 15 starts...scored three goals - vs. Defiance College, the University of Mount Union and at John Carroll University - to go along with two assists...tallied nine goals on goal with a .643 shots on goal percentage.
SENIOR SEASON (2021 SPRING): Started all 11 games in a season shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic...Second Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) honoree...member of Fightin' Quaker defensive unit that shutout four opponents.
