PERSONAL: Zahrya Bailey was born Aug. 2, 2001...the daughter of Deidre Bailey...three-year starter for Head Coach David Loper at Fairfield High School...First Team All-Conference...Honorable Mention All-District..averaged 11.1 points per season and scored nearly 900 points in prep career.
MAJOR: Exercise Science
FRESHMAN SEASON (2019-20): Appeared in all 26 games as a freshman...averaged 6.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists...scored in double figures seven times...dished out at least five assists on nine occasions.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2020-21): Appeared in all 14 games with one start in a season shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic...averaged 8.3 points, 3-0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game...scored in double figures in five games including a 17-point, 6-assist performance in a 96-81 win over Muskingum University on Jan. 29.
JUNIOR SEASON (2021-22): Appeared in 19 games with 14 starts as a junior...second on the team in scoring at 9.1 points per game...scored in double figures 10 times including a season-high 19 points in a victory over Wooster...swiped five steals on two occasions.
