PERSONAL: Whitney Amber Edwards was born Febraury 29, 1996 ... the daughter of Kathy and Steve Edwards... earned four varsity letters at Franklin County High School ... her team was three time District Champions ... was a two-time All-State Honorable mention nominee and a two-time Academic Honorable Mention... her team won the Regional Runner-ups, District Champions her senior year ...  All-District team, All- Region team, and All-Tournament team as a senior.

MAJOR: Athletic Training

FRESHMAN SEASON (2015): Appeared in 28 games with 26 starts in the infield ... 13 hits with four doubles, eight RBI, and scored ten runs ... finished the season with a .176 batting average.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2016): Started 35 games, all at 2B ... career-long four-game hitting streak, twice ... five doubles, nine RBI and 11 runs scored ... hit .277 on the season.
