Biography

PERSONAL: Sawyer Lynne Hooper was born November 9, 1995 ... the daughter of Jeff Myers and Stephanie Blessings and step daughter of Glen Blessings ... has four siblings, including twin Savannah, who is a member of the WC basketball and softball team ... earned three varsity letters at Wilmington ... her senior year she earned Honorable Mention and her teamed was the Sectional Champions  

MAJOR: Early Childhood Education

FRESHMAN SEASON (2015): Appeared in 26 games with two outfield starts and three starts catching ... five hits, four RBI and scored four runs ... finished the season with a .250 batting average.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2016): Academic All-OAC ... appeared in 22 games with 21 starts, all behind the plate ... career-high three hits and two RBI (Rockford, 3/10).

JUNIOR SEASON (2017): Academic All-OAC ... appeared in 27 games with 25 starts, mostly behind the plate ... scored four runs on the year.
