PERSONAL: Madeline "Grace" Shell was born Dec. 15, 1998 to parents Jake and Heather Shell...four-year starter for Head Coach Wade New at Sidney High School...accumulated 39 wins as a pitcher in her career as well as hitting over a .300 clip all four years...averaged .443 with 23 RBI as a senior...Second Team All-Conference as a junior...First Team All-Conference as a senior...also member of the volleyball program...graduated Summa Cum Laude...National Honor Society member.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2018): Appeared in 17 games with 102.0 inning pitched...had 68 strikeouts on the season with an ERA of 5.01...had seven wins on the season...tallied a fielding percentage of .926 with 11 putouts and 14 assists.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2019): Appeared in 21 games with 110.0 innings pitched...had 89 strikeouts on the season with an ERA of 2.42...had 10 wins of the season...had a fielding percentage of .917 with 11 putouts and 11 assists...Honorable Mention All-OAC honoree.
