PERSONAL: Arianna Layne was born May 20th, 2002...daughter of Evy and Chuck Layne...four-year starter for Head Coach Tyler Callahan at Middletown High School...First Team All-Conference honoree...career batting average of .521 along with eight home runs...also a member of the basketball team.

MAJOR: Education 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2021): Played in all 40 games as both an infielder and an outfielder as a freshman...Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Freshman of the Year and a Second Team All-OAC selection...led the team in home runs with eight, RBIs with 25 and tied for the lead in doubles with seven...OAC Hitter of the Week honoree...made 68 putouts and 27 assists defensively.
