Shane Walterhouse enters his first year as an Intern Assistant Football Coach at Wilmington College in 2024-25, with the 2024 season being his first on the sidelines for the Quakers. 

Walterhouse has coached high school football for six years and made several different stops along the way. He was the Offensive Coordinator at Batavia High School, Co-Offensive Coordinator at Greenfield McClain High School and Greeneview High School. Other positions Walterhouse has held are Wide Receivers and Defensive Backs Coach at Waynesville High School and Freshman Head Football Coach at Little Miami High School.

Walterhouse is familiar with the Ohio Athletic Conference, having graduated from Capital University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in the spring of 2009.
