Biography

PERSONAL: Nicholas Anthony Silvis was born November 24, 1997, the son of George and Alex Silvis...earned three varsity letters at Indian Lake High School...hit over .300 in all three seasons, including hitting .361 as a senior with 25 RBIs...two-time First Team All-Central Buckeye Conference selection...three-time Central Buckeye Conference Scholar Athlete. 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2017): Appeared in 38 games with 135 at bats...carried a .274 batting average with three doubles, nine RBIs and eight walks.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2018): Appeared in 36 games with 137 at bats...led the team in batting average with a .321 clip...tied for the team high in hits with 44 and walks drawn with 15...drove in 14 runs along with hitting two doubles...finished three games with three-plus hits including back-to-back games of three hits against Skidmore and St. Michael's on March 12-13.

JUNIOR SEASON (2019): Appeared in 37 games with 148 at bats...finished second on the team in batting average at a .318 clip...drove in 20 runs, tied for second on the team...hit one double, two triples, stole seven bases and drew 16 walks...Honorable Mention All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree...recorded multi-hit games in 14 contests.
