PERSONAL: Bryant Marshall McCarty was born March 21, 1998, the son of Bill and Jennifer McCarty...has an older brother, Randy...earned two varsity letters at Russia High School ... named Honorable Mention All-Shelby County league as a senior. 

MAJOR: Exercise Science

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2017): Appeared in 13 games with two starts as a pitcher...carried a 6.35 ERA in 34 innings pitched with 10 strikeouts...earned first collegiate victory against Cincinnati Clermont on March 23...had five at bats as a hitter.

JUNIOR SEASON (2018): Appeared in 10 games...carried a 6.32 ERA in 15 innings pitched with 9 strikeouts.
