PERSONAL: Jalaun Covington was born Apr. 12, 2001...son of Jeffrey Covington and Venesia Jones...played under Head Coach Nathan Hillerich,,,member of track team. 

MAJOR: Sport Management 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2019): Appeared in four games...six tackles.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2021 SPRING): Appeared all five games in a season shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic...tallied 17 tackles including four for loss...broke up three passes and sacked one quarterback.

JUNIOR SEASON (2021 FALL): Appeared in eight games...tallied 31 tackles...grabbed his first career interception Nov. 6 against Capital University...had a team high 10 pass breakups 

SENIOR SEASON (2022): Appeared in all 10 games as a senior...tallied 27 tackles and six pass breakups as a starting defensive back.
