(ADRIAN, Mich.) – The Wilmington College women's soccer team came away from a matchup against the Adrian College Bulldogs with a 0-0 draw on the road Friday night. The Quakers outshot the Bulldogs 14-6, with an 8-3 advantage in shots on goal.
Both teams took just three shots in the first half, with two of the Quakers shots being on goal. The two shots on goal came from
Avery Minteer and
Olivia Roye. All three Bulldogs shots were on goal, putting pressure on the Quakers senior goalkeeper
Emma Storck.
The second half was a different story for Wilmington, as they put six shots on goal, including two over the final five minutes of the contest. The six shots on goal came from Minteer,
Jordan Snyder,
MJ Little, and
Delaney Benjamin.
