(GREENCASTLE, Indiana) – The DePauw Tigers downed the Wilmington Quakers 2-1 on Saturday afternoon at Reavis Stadium.
The Tigers opened the scoring with a goal in the 11th minute. Wilmington responded six minutes later as Ben Bartschy found the back of the net to tie the match 1-1.
The match remained tied until DePauw scored the go-ahead goal in the 43rd minute to take a 2-1 lead into halftime.
Despite Wilmington recording four shots in the second half compared with DePauw's two, the Quakers were unable to find an equalizer en route to a 2-1 road loss.
