(WILMINGTON, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's soccer team lost 2-1 at home Tuesday night in Williams Stadium, 2-1. This loss drops them to 4-2-2 overall this season.
The Quakers put the first shot on goal in the contest in the 12th minute, coming off the foot of sophomore
Delaney Benjamin, a rocket right at the keeper.
Their best look of the first half was on a penalty kick that Wilmington missed as the Pioneers scored in the 28th and 31st minutes for a 2-0 halftime lead, with both goals coming from Olivia Thomas.
Jordan Snyder found the back of the net in the 66th minute, with a beautiful strike over the keeper to get Wilmington back into the game at 2-1. The Quakers had two more shots on goal in the half, but couldn't find the equalizer in their defeat.

- Fifth year Jordan Snyder scored for the second straight match and now had six goals this season. She took three shots in the game with two on goal.
- Olivia Roye, Delaney Benjamin, and Jaice Neumaier all took two shots in the game, with both of Benjamin's being on goal.
- Wilmington outshot Transylvania 12-11 with seven shots on goal to their five.
