(RICHMOND, Indiana) – The Wilmington Quakers men's golf team finished seventh out of 10 teams at the Forest Hills Invitational, hosted by Earlham College.
The Quakers finished at 70-over par as a team, four strokes ahead of eighth-place Berea and six strokes behind sixth-place Anderson. Wilmington posted a score of 35-over par in each of its two rounds.
In the opening round, Nolan Zambori paced Wilmington at 6-over par, recording eight pars and two birdies. Nolan Hockett and reigning OAC Men's Golfer of the Week Cohen Beebe each finished one stroke behind Zambori. Beebe recorded a team-high four birdies in the first round.
Hockett shined in the second round, shooting 1-over par with a team-high five birdies. The performance propelled him 11 spots up the leaderboard into a tie for fifth individually at 8-over par for the tournament. Beebe and Zambori finished the second round seven and eight strokes behind Hockett, respectively.

Hockett's 1-over-par second round tied the second-lowest round by a Wilmington golfer this fall, trailing only Beebe's 1-under-par round at the Stateline Shootout on Sept. 13. The freshman from Springfield, Ohio, finished the tournament at 8-over par, tied for fifth individually.
