Women's Soccer Drops 1-0 Decision at Mount St. Joseph Wednesday Night

(CINCINNATI, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's soccer team completed their five-game road trip Wednesday night at Mount St. Joseph University, falling to the Lions by a 1-0 score. The Quakers drop to 4-1-1 overall this season.

Wilmington got off to a quick start in the game, taking all four of their first half shots within the first 22 minutes of action, with two of the shots coming from sophomore Delaney Benjamin. The Lions scored their lone goal of the contest in the 51st minute on a Preslee Rugg strike from Mary Anhofer.

The Quakers took six shots in the second half, including a 90th minute opportunity from Jaice Neumaier, but couldn't find the back of the net in their loss.
