Four Unanswered Goals Lead Quakers Past Mountaineers

(WILMINGTON, Ohio) – The Wilmington College men's soccer team won their third straight game Saturday afternoon at home against the Berea College Mountaineers, 4-1.

They fell behind 1-0 in the 7th minute, but senior Kaden Young stole a pass and scored in the 12th minute to tie the score at 1-1.

Sophomore Parker Burke blasted one past the keeper in the 24th minute to put Wilmington ahead for good, 2-1. Their next goal came on a Jordan Domoe header off a corner kick, making it 3-1 in the 50th minute.

The last goal of the game was a beauty. Alen Salihbegovic took control of a pass near the sideline and breezed past his defender before putting the ball between three Mountaineers to a streaking Domoe for a one on one with keeper and he put it past with his left foot for a 4-1 win.
